Good morning. Here's the Outer Banks Beach, Surf & Fishing Report for Tuesday, March 20, 2012. This video was shot at the Kitty Hawk Bath House at 8:45 AM. Happy 1st day of spring! We have a beautiful OBX day to start the spring season. Mostly sun, upper 60's, light onshore breeze, and fresh salt air. Looking ahead, this great weather will be with us all week. Maybe a thunderstorm or two, but warm and mostly sunny will be the norm. Glad to see you spring! Unfortunately, not much surf to report. Small swell and an onshore wind. Looks like we could have a little something Friday and Saturday morning when the wind switches offshore; small but clean. OBX fishing is slow, but water temps are up to 55 degrees, so spring fish should be here soon. Skate and dog fish at Jennette's Pier and tuna offshore - 400 lb blue fin caught the other day.
